The Pink Lily Piko Tunic Transitioning to Fall

It’s that time of the year when all the stores start putting out cozy knit sweaters and everything turns to pants so you immediatly want fall weather.  Living in Oklahoma though it’s not so easy, even though the weather can be in the 80s and for sure cooling off its the humidity that still gets us!! I totally tried to rock my moto jacket to the Runway Tulsa event last night and was dying towards the end of the night it was so hot!! So that inspired me to create this post and put together an easy list of how you can start TRANSITIONING into fall… (like you haven’t heard that enough already) 😆

OUTFIT DETAILS:

TUNIC TOP, WHITE JEAN SHORTS, BOOTIES (Ryann Booties), MICHAEL KORS BAG, HAT, ILYMIX SUNGLASSES

OUTFIT DETAILS:

TOP C/O THE PINK LILY BOUTIQUE, MOTO JACKET, JEANS, BOOTIES, NECKLACE, BAG, SUNGLASSES, RING

3 basic ways to ease into fall:

  1. BOOTIES: Just start purchasing all boots.  I love a good ankle bootie that I actually wear all year around.  I love pairing them with shorts or little dresses so thats an easy no brainer to start wearing now and throughout the season.  THESE are my favorite pair right now!
  2. CARDIGAN: I don’t mean like the school girl cardigan but a oversized chunky knit cardigan that you can throw on over a tank top and rock the casual cute look! LOVE these from Urban Outfitters, it comes in 10 different colors, I own it in black but want more!! Super cute paired with shorts too.
  3. MOTO JACKET: If you haven’t already bought a moto jacket or pulled yours out from last year this is the perfect time! I love this for a night time look when it’s cooled off a little and it easily dresses up your t-shirt.  Easy to throw on & go! I have this one in black and green, also waiting on this suede one to come in the mail!!

Almost to the weekend!

Hang in there,

XOX
