Outfit Inspiration + Tips

BEANIE: Urban Outfitters (old) // TURTLENECK: Forever 21 (old) // SWEATER: Urban Outfitters (old) //  DENIM: Lioness // BOOTS: Aldo // BAG: DailyLook (On Sale!)

Obviously I have an addiction to stripes this week… I should of just named my blog layer with stripes! 😂  I saw a similar look to this a lot last year and I always loved it soooo much that I  wanted to recreate something similar with the camel + stripes concept in mind.  I also just got this new bag that I’m thinking is going to be perfect for an everyday go-to.  I love that it looks like the Chanel Boy bag but without the cost, this online store also makes a great alternative to the Celine bag!! (I really like the beige color) I ALSO, just got these OTK boots (FINALLY!!!) that I’m obsessed with!! I also bought these & these both under $100.  They’re such a great alternative to the Stuart Weitzman boots and super comfortable.

Tips for your Thanksgiving holiday look:

1. COMFORTABLY CUTE — Of course we want to look cute but don’t stress out about it, make sure you feel comfortable in it since your most likely not going to be at your home and can’t just change into your pjs after you eat.  Including your shoes! Maybe opt out of the high heel pump and go with a dressy flat or low heeled boot like the ones I’m wearing with this outfit. πŸ™‚

2. OVERSIZED/CHUNKY/ LONG TOP — One, it’s a comfortable option but the most important reason is CARBS duh! I know by the end of the meal its a high possibility that my pants will be unbutton (don’t by shy you know yours will be too!!!) so let’s just keep that covered up & wear something longer on top 😂

3. LAYERS OF COURSE — Every year it’s tradition for my family to go see the lighting of the trees which is typically freezing.. so I HAVE to have something extra to cover up MORE… but during the day in the kitchen it gets HOT so you need to be able to shed layers.

4. JUST WEAR A DRESS — Honestly, the most easiest and comfortable option is to just. wear. a dress… I kind of cringe typing that (I used to love dresses but with baby boy they’re not so practical for the daily) THINK about it though. Think super comfortable sweater dress! It’s one piece that doesn’t take a lot of thought to put a whole outfit together.  Just add a chunky knit cardigan or blanket scarf for your layers & an over the knee boot. BAM, YOU’RE DONE & LOOK SUPER CUTE! You’re welcome! 😉

NOW, What’s everyone cooking?? Please share your holiday recipes & dishes with me!! πŸ™‚
