3 Ways To Wear A Boyfriend Button Up

Happy Thursday Friends! I totally said on my IG post that I was going to post this Yesterday but mom life happened and I really just wanted to hang with Juj and play outside instead.  So finally here it is my 3 ways I wore this Express Boyfriend Shirt and the 3 different occasions it’s perfect for wearing!

Loved it so much I had to buy 3 colors! I actually bought them in 3 different sizes too.. no reason really (more because thats all that was left) but I got XS, S, M.  Since they are an oversized fit I think its great that they are versatile in all different sizes!

This look is perfect for a girls night where it’s casual but you want to look put together.  Keeping the shirt buttoned with the white jeans and heels gives it a polished look but add the half tuck for a chic style touch. (As seen on my Instagram here.)

Now that it’s warming up outside I think pairing this top with the skirt is a perfect go to for daytime activities.  Once again keeping the shirt buttoned gives it a polished look as well as tucking it into the skirt.  Keeps you looking put together while keeping it casual and comfortable!  Adding a cute little sandal or espadrille gives this look the perfect cool girl vibe and of course is great for running errands all day (and chasing after a little!) As seen on my Instagram here & here. Also, if you’d like to see another way I styled this skirt check out my post here!

Date Night:

In my case this meant FAMILY date night! I wore this look to a movie date with my boys keeping it casual but cute.  Leaving the top unbuttoned gave it more of a jacket look and giving me that extra layer I’m always in need of at the movies.  Pairing it with the cami and heel made me feel girly and a little dressed up for a ‘date’.  Also since we were going to a movie and sitting I felt okay wearing a heel while being with Julian!  Plus, they are super easy to walk in & keep up with a toddler. (see here on Instagram)

Hope this was a helpful post to inspire you to wear your button up shirts in different ways!

Would love to hear other styles you’re wanting more tips on ways to wear??

Thanks Hannah! I love it too. Especially since then you can wear a larger one open as a jacket or a smaller one tucked in & not have too much material.
